    New, "to me", 2003 Triton TR186, 150 Merc. XR6

I got a great deal on this bass boat. Motor runs sweet. Boat is solid. I am in the process of cleaning and waxing. Quite a bit of oxidation, the boat is white. Any suggestions on products that do a good job of getting the oxidation off and a good wax to use?

Go to the restoration forum. You should be able to find some answers there.

if you can, get you one of these..........they also sell them combined with a pad kit for various levels of cutting ability.......the kit can be found online for less than $200............pick up a couple of bottles of Meguires compounds as they are numerically labeled to reflect their cutting ability (harshness)..........I would recommend ending with 3M Finish It compound then a good carnauba based wax, then keep it maintained after each trip with a marine detailer such as BBS or BTS protectants to stop staining on the water line area due to the hull being white

3M makes a good cleaner/wax that will take quite a bit of the oxidaton off a white boat. Takes some rubbing, but you can do it by hand if you don't want to get involved with the rotary equipment.
