    16' bass boat

looking to get into a 16 ft bass boat with 90-115 hp. would like to find a wide beam style with good storage. also the reason for the smaller boat vs a larger boat is that we have to tow long distance for a bunch of the lakes, and also like to travel to some extremely small lakes like long lake az. let me know what you guys think are some great bass boats in the 16 ft range.

    Re: 16' bass boat (stadious)

Well it depends on your budget.........$8-9K can put you in a 1998 - 2000 R70/1/2 series Ranger at 17 ft with a 115 on it .....you could also get a slightly newer smaller Triton / ProCraft / Skeeter......or you could go with a newer Xpress tin with 50 - 75hp. In addition, older boats usually need someTLC and you've gotta watch the motor. Depends on your comfort level....and your wallet....more info on your your level of skill [for reno jobs] and your $ figure would help....

16'8 or 17'6 champion would fit the bill.
