    jack plate question

I have a T&H Pro Hi-Jacker HP jack plate on my triton. I'm not 100% sure how to raise it. I know you loosen the bolts and turn the center bolt in the middle of the plate. My question is about the bottom two bolts on both sides of the jack plate, do I just loosen them or take them all the way out? With the top two, they are in a slot with a nut and I can tell a difference when I move it, with those two bottom ones, it looks like they screw into some sort of raised bar inside the plate. It's around 3 or 4 inches long, running up and down and they seem to be stationary. Sorry for the length and maybe I described it well enough for some tips and help!

Re: jack plate question (bama railman)

Loosen the two bolts on each side, you do not have to take them out. The middle long bolt is used to lower/raise the engine. When raising the engine, you may to shake or pull up on the engine to get it to move. when you have the desired set tighten the 4 bolts (2 per side) the tq for them is 80 FTLBS. Tighten the 2 jam nuts.
