I just bought a 1997 Skeeter 202. I would like to install an aftermarket foot pedal trey. Can anyone advise me on anything that I need to watch out for when I cut the hole. I want to make sure I don't cut a crossmember but I cannot see under there. I have gone from bay fishing to try bass fishing. Thanks for the help!

Terry - can you remove the bow dash panel (where the TM plugs in, etc)? If so, you might be able to peak under the deck with a mirror and flashlight. Or better yet, stick a digital camera down there and snap a few pics of whatever may or may not be underneath. Just don't drop the camera!!!
You may want to post your question on the Skeeter page as I am sure someone there has installed a recess tray.
See if you can look under the deck from your front storage compartment, also see if you can remove your bow panel and take a peek or stick your arm in there to feel for any cross members.
