    Check these out!

I have caught fish off these things year round. They are actually best in June and I have caught largemouth up to 6 pounds off them on crankbait. I have known what these were ever since I have fished this lake but I have never seen them out of the water as drawn down never gets below them. Quite honestly when my buddy got his new boat and it was rigged with a 997 he took a picture of this same shot with his phone and sent it to me. That is what sold me on Side Imageing (honestly) I wasn't even considering getting one until I saw what it could actually do. anyways I'm not gonna reveal what they are until I let you guys take a stab at it. It should be pretty easy. The second pic is pretty amazing i think especially the DI shot above the 2D image.

I'll take a shot at them. The first images look like flood rings that would be around fuel storage tanks. The last one is a road bed.

The roadbed is the easy one. But those aeren't flood rings. There were fish on them today but I couldn't get them to bite.

cool pics... dunno what the round structures are, they look like slurry tanks (for manure) that we have in the midwest on farms, but i am quite sure you dont have them down in tennessee! Otherwise they look like oil tanks or maybe flooded sewage treatment plant?

You win the prize! They are what's left of grain silos. That entire area about 2 to 3 acres has about what's left of about 6 silos. those three that are shown have the best remaining structure. Notice in the DI picture in number 2 how you can make out the remaining rebar that encircles the foundation of the silo. I think the smaller more "perfect" circle is a smaller silo that was made entirely of concrete blocks and the bottom layer or two were left intact. I have seen a few of them still around in this area and they are constructed a little different "older" technology I guess. That one was actually a surprise the first time I used my new SI unit. It was out a little deeper and I never knew it was there. I had probably sat right on top of it many times throwing at the other 2 silos. By the way the road bed in the last pic is about 25 yards or so from the silos. Makes for a lot of structure in a small area.

    Re: Check these out! (Gman24)

I really like the first picture because with the DI and the SI of the same pick and a simple shape like a circle, you can really tell how that DI works in relation to how something sits on the bottom and what you are seeing.......

Aw shucks, I was gonna guess a three ringed circus.

Would fit right in with this bunch.
