    Shipping a 150 powerhead

    how much does a 93 150 evinrude powerhead weigh? no carbs or intake just the powerhead. whats the best shipping option ups? freight? what do you guys use?

    If its heavy and needs to go on a pallet, or a piece of a pallet, try land air, they are pretty cheap with stuff that isnt really big but still heavy. good luck!

    Carbs and intake weigh nothing they are plastic. The flywheel is about 30 pounds, starter about 10, heads about 10 each crank 40 pounds. Get the largest rubber maid tub you can get, pack it with foam rubber and put the PH in it duct tape the snot out of it and take it to UPS ship it ground. Probably about 200 pounds or so with out the FW, heads and starter.
