First of all.....Thanks to Mike, Doug and all for putting this together and participating in this great forum. This has been a great learning tool for me so far.
My buddy got 2 new si units on his boat this spring and he is technologically challenged so I have to run,educate,interpret all of his electronics for him. Unfortunately his boat got totaled last month in a storm so we only had about 6 weeks of playing with them. Now we are waiting for his new boat to show up, hopefully in a couple of weeks.
My request is that someone show some images with weedy lakes. My assumption is (and I could be wrong) that most of the images I have seen so far are mainly hard bottoms with rock or wood structure.
We typically are fishing water that is 20 foot or less that may have 8 to 10 feet of weed growth with rock mixed in. I need some help identifying fish in that kind of cover. I would try to help with images but, obviously cant at this point. I do look forward to contributing this fall though.
