    Look What I Found

Not Humminbird pictures, but still interesting. Guess what it is and I will share the rest of the pictures that tell the story.

Here's some more that will be a dead giveaway. I didn't really find this, I was given the coordinates by champion221elite. It's on Lake Charlevoix in Northern Michigan.

Re: Look What I Found (fishin couillon)

First I was going to guess a grain barge - with the opening. Here's image of open container barge.

From Generation 1 Humminbird Technology 987c - details improved with new frequencies and coverage areas.

Here's one with Humminbird 797c2 SI mounted on trolling motor of a closed hull barge that gave me the idea:

But with the complete image looks kind of like a BlackBart:

The area of coverage can tell you alot about what size of object you are viewing...not having those makes it difficult to guess.

The boat that Craig is showing is 172 feet long and was scuttled in the 1930's.

Re: Look What I Found (champion221elite)

Here's more information on the BlackBart shipwreck in Panama City FL Area:

    Black Bart
The most popular dive site in Panama City, the 185-foot oil field supply ship sits upright and fully intact in about 75 feet of water. Her bow points due south. The bridge can be reached at 45 feet and the main deck is at 70 feet. The cargo holds are open for exploration. The Black Bart is a popular spot for wreck training and for photography.

    And here: http://florida.greatestdivesit..._bart

If you look at the image the Area of Coverage is Meters done with an International Unit, It 60 Meters (about 180' side coverage) not 60 feet.
