    Interesting Switchfire 2D Images

Here are the Switchfire 2D Images. Can you guess what type of structure we have here? DI and SI to come later. Both Sensitivity are set to Factory Defaults.

    Switchfire Max Mode

    Switchfire Clear Mode

This will show the powerful feature of SI!

Down Imaging of the same Switchfire Images:

Is it a huge rocklike? It looks like it's ten feet tall. I'm not good at this.

You are both wrong it is not the oil spill and it is not a rock pile. It's a a Volcano erupting and spewing out fish.

    Now that's funny!!!

I'm not sure what it is, but it looks to be about 12 feet tall and pretty hard. I will guess some concrete form like a single bridge piling. They are shapped like that especially when eroded.

That is very impressive to show the differences. Could you tell us what settings you were using at that depth and why? That would be helpful.

    Re: (Karas3434)

Slow Steady Boat Speed and Scroll Speed close to matching boat speed or slightly lower will produce these images.

Everything else is at Factory Default Settings...Actually That's a new subject when we get done with this topic.

OK, I was goin to guess an underwater spring if the water temp was high enough to form a thermocline.

I think the cool thing is how SI complete the story exactly what you are seeing. This looked like a straight bluff when I was scanning and this point has been very successful fish holding area since I found it.

You guys catch bass in 80 feet of water? That is strange... all i've ever heard of that deep up here in MN are lake trout.

On the Ozark Mountain Lakes have caught them deeper than that. Takes good electronics to vertical fish and love my 'Birds for Vertical fishing. Got to fish where the fish are...

    Doug,

Can you etcha sketch something on these pics to add a little more fidelity to the point and wall you are referring to?

I am new to this and highly intereted in the HB's with all the new stuff, but, am really having a hard time interpretating the shots.

    Thanks
    Dave
