    painted concrete block ?

    were redoing some outside bathrooms at church and want to cover the block seams.the blocks are painted now.what would we have to do to make a hard coat finish?

    You can cover the block with cement parging. Since it's a painted surface you'll more than likely need to put wire lathe over the block then the parging.

    Sherwin Williams makes a product called block filler, it does just that, fills in all the little holes in the block. As close to a hard finish as your gonna get for not a lot of work or money
