How do I provide a link to another thread when posting?

Title pretty much says it all. If I want to provide the link to another thread, what are they steps to doing that? Thanks.

Copy the thread properties.........."http://www.bbcboards.net/zerothread?id=?????????????????" at the top of the page and then click on this insert the thread properties in between the brackets. Just like you would while posting a picture except it will show up as a link.
