    trouble shooting 225ho trim and tilt

    is it getting power, fuse blown ?

    i can hear the relays clicking .i also reversed them to se if one or the other will move it, how can i check for 122vdc at the trim motor itself

    unplug the motor at the connector under the under the motor cowl. Make up two jumper wires long enough to reach the trim motor connector at the motor. Hook them up to the battery put one jumper on either the blue or green lead, and the other jumper on the other lead. Motor will go up or down depending on what color wire you put the positive from the battery on. Green with positive it will go down. Positive on blue it will go down. Thanks for giving us a model number to help you out.
