My E-Tec 50 on my 2005 Lowe 160W has problems with cold mornings.
It starts fine but when I engage and attempt to throttle up it makes a "bogging" sound and won't throttle up until I let it idle for quite a while. This makes it tough to move after launch so I use my TM while it warms.
Is this a linkage or fuel delivery issue?
I talked with other guys with other motors and they have experienced similar on cold mornings.
I don't have too many being here in SoCal.![]()
