    Not enough time to Marinade?

My wife picked up some inch thick steaks for me to grill the other night. I didn't have time to do a real marinade, so I picked up some A1 Steak Marinade. While I was getting the grill going, I had the steaks sitting in the A1 Marinade. I thought, why not wrap them with bacon. So I put 3 strips of bacon per steak and used toothpics to keep them attached. When we had our first bite of steak...WOW. Not completely sure if it was the Marinade, bacon, or combo there of, but they were delicious. This is my new steak recipe of choice. It's fast, easy and tastes great! Wanna keep the cost down a little, get the cheep bacon, ya just want it for the "juice" anyway.

Tired of baked potatoes everytime you have steak...try garlic mashed potatoes. Just make you usual mashed tators, but add garlic powder and sour cream before you mix. Have some fresh scallions (stalk type onions) to cut some chives up to add to your finished product.

Just trying to catch one that compares to the one that got away!
