    Dry Rubs

This is one I've been using for a couple years and has worked out great.

    2 tbsp chili powder.
    1 tbsp paprika

    2 tsp oregano
    2 tsp garlic powder

    1/2 tsp each:

    cayenne
    black pepper
    dry mustard
    thyme
    tarragon

    1/8 tsp allspice.

Good for a regular rack of spareribs.

I use this on ribs in the smoker. Sometimes I brush maple syrup on them before putting on the rub. Let them sit in the fridge overnight.

If I don't use the syrup, just before I cook them, I put a light coating of brown sugar on top.

I'm open to ideas. Got a good mix, post it!!!!! (please)
