    Steak anyone???

OK, lets get them out there... I know there are a bunch of us who have their favorite steak marinade or "best way to grill". Lets post a few of them and see what we come up with.

I keep it simple. Season with Lawry's Season Salt and Worcestershire no more than 5 minutes before grilling. The best flavor I have ever had was grilled over an open pit fire from and oak tree.

For those of us who like it rear, do not let it sit too long before grilling because the meat will brown from the Worcestershire sauce.

Now, if you have a wife like mine who likes their steak to have "no red" when cut into, let that puppy sit for a while in the Worcestershire before grilling and it will only take half the time, still be tender, and not look like tanned leather once it is "well done".

yep.. that soy will make a medium- rare steak look well done...funny how if they dont see the pink its all good....
i personally like mine with just a shot of salt and pepper....or a little dash of montreal seasoning...dont like to mess with a good cut of beef...

I have been using Durkee's Steak Dust I bought at Sam's and really like it. I even mix it in with hamburger meat before I patty them out.

A little of Dale's , a good hot grill, one min on each side then turn it down to low for five min on each side just right.

What is Dale's? Have not heard of it. I am sure I could find it if I looked in the market.

50/50 Worshire and Terake and Lowry's season, Marinate for 3 to 4 hours, Throw on Hot grill, cook to desired, I prefer Medium rare. Are really great like this and I have even made my burgers like this.

Be careful with it though, you can ruin a good steak if you use to much!

I use Soy, and Jalapeno juice to marinade my steak. The Jalapeno juice does not make it hot, just adds a great flavor. Finish it off with a little Clarified butter. Cook it over mesquite wood for an even better steak.

    Re: Steak anyone??? (Robert)

I also like the dales marinade use it on a ton of stuff when i grill. but my steak marinade consists of Dale's with garlic salt , black pepper, and i put a little bud light or budweiser in it. cause that dale's is a real salty marinade and i dont want it to overpower the taste of a good cut. The beer tones the dales down a little and gives it a good flavor. Then cook to your preference.

    Kosher salt, Fresh ground pepper
Very hot charcol fire for about 4min per side.
enjoy with some A1 and dont forget the bread to sop up the yum yums left on the plate.

That steak must not be any good if you have drown it A1. A good steak don't need anything but some good bread

That is my recipe exactly minus the A1. Sometimes I put a small mesquite chunk on the coals for a more smokey flavor. Oh yeah, and a cold coors light. Saint.

A little olive oil, Cavender's seasoning, and some worchestershire sauce. It'll melt in your mouth.
