Guys this stuff is to die for. Gotta try it on a nice big ribeye.
2 cloves garlic
1/8th cup finely chopped onions
1/8th cup Worstershire sauce
EVOO
1 small can tomato sauce
1/2 cup red cooking sherry
In a 2 qt pot ( or whatever you have) drizzle bottom of pot with EVOO. About 3-4 tablespoons.
Medium heat.
Add chopped garlic and onions, sautee in EVOO for a couple minutes.
Add cooking sherry. Simmer untill alcohol cooks off and contents thicken.
Add Worstershire sauce and tomato sauce. Simmer for 20 minutes.
Add salt and pepper to taste. Enjoy!
For a great side dish, fry 2-3 large sliced onions in EVOO. When done, turn heat on high. When hot, add Balsamic vinegar to pan. Stir. Turn heat to medium and let onions carmelize(sp)
