    No where to put garlic up front?

    After losing bottles from the trolling tray, and nowhere close to keep them w/in reach, I came up w/ this idea. Fiberglass a "pod" to attach in an area out of the way.
    pic one;
    Card board template taped up to test size and location.

    next, I laid fiberglass directly over the cardboard template (After I duct taped the whole thing to act as mold release) After curing I popped the cardboard out from below it and added another layer inside for strength.
    Next I grinded it and wiped bondo over the whole thing and sanded w/ 40 grit to get an approx shape and test fit again;

    Now I have fiberglassed "L": brackets to the back to use 3M 2 sided tape to attach to the console side;

    Hole is cut to fit my bottle, and was cut big to allow carper to roll over in the hole for a snug fit. Then covered;

    I'll post pics once installed in a day or two.

    MERRY CHRISTMAS...go build something!

    Final pic installed;

    Very nice job. Looks awesome

    For a slightly less professional look I use a shower caddy to keep all the things I need to get to quickly close at hand. Fits nicely in the space just forward of the console on my 2000 ZX 185 and is secured with velcro.

    I took a plastic Folgers coffee can, cut a hole in the middle and stuck my seat post through it, holds garlic, pliers, sunblock, scissors and whatever else I need.

    I like the home made version as well, nice work.

    And the shower caddy is a good call as well.

    I just use Velcro. The kind with the sticky stuff on one side.
