Water Pres. Gauge Install 1999 Johnson 150hp

The fine folks at C&O marine gave me a new water pressure gauge kit when I purchased the boat from them a year ago. I have never installed it, ( boat never had one) well since I just replaced the fuel pump and removed the oil injection I figured I would check to see if this something I could do myself.

Problem is I dont know where to begin? Is this a hard install ( not talking about in the dash) speaking of motor end. And where do you run the hose to on the motor. I have look for diagrams or pics but have yet to find any good ones as of yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

port side of eng, look for a brass plug ,go the top of the page and hit the search button and type in water pressure gauge,the search is a great feature on here

I did the look up .. but also looking for a hose kit, they gave me just the gauge, I have to find and order the hose kit also.

i have the complete kit,gauge, hose brackets complete kit,i have a guy interested if he does not take it you can have it for $35.00 it is a factory omc kit new in package

There is a hose kit for sale on ebay.

You could just go to a home improvement store and buy 20' of hose for your application.

you can use the clear vynl hose from the home place, just make real sure it can't kink on you.
