    Cheap wheel chocks

    The next time you change the brake shoes on a drum brake vehicle, keep the old shoes. They are curved, and make good wheel chocks if you lay them on their side with the inside of the curve to the tire.

    They do 2 things for you like this

    1) keep the car/boat/etc from moving

    2) keep cords & hoses from getting pinched between the tire and the floor
