Trolling motor pin

The pin on my Mk trolling motor works its way out inboard after lowering and raising several times.I had the same problem with the last MG I owned.
I purchased a small [ fuel line size ] stainless hose clamp , put it on the pin inside the bracket and tightened .Used it all weekend and it didn't move.

The pin on my MK55AT did the same thing. I put a couple of drops of Loc-Tite (med strength) on it and tapped it back in. It hasn't come back out yet.
