    Steam Cleaner and Carpets...

Has anyone ever cleaned their boat carpets with a steam cleaner? My triton's carpet is really bad.....just thought a steam cleaner would work. The only concern I have is the heat..would it be too much for the glue holding the carpet down? Any help would be appreciated...thanks :)

Had an older boat and used a steam cleaner on it. I don't know if it was the glue that was used or it got to hot, but all the carpet in the boat came off on the next trip that I took.
