The jigs I use have a plastic rattle chamber that slides under the rubberband and another part that goes over the shank of the hook. I noticed it was broken and the next fish I caught on that jig managed to throw the rattle. I look in my jig box and found another rattle that was broken the same way. It would work if I could figure out how to attach it. I thought of using a zip tie but only had big ones in my boats tool kit. I did find some electrical tape. I split a piece about 2 inches long and wrapped my rattle onto the hook shank, worked like a charm and still holding.
