want some extra $$$ for rods, tackle, etc? Never spend a dollar....

That's right. Every time you get a dollar bill, put it away. Don't spend it.
If you think a dollar is too much, just try it with the change in pocket. You'll be suprised how much you can actually save!!!

My wife and I did this for 3 years awhile back, and paid for a vacation to England and Scotland. That includes airfare. All with the loose change we put away. So the next time your eyeing a new rod or reel (DAVE!!! ) remember that dollar, or the loose change we have laying around!

Back in my drinkin days, I found a Jim Beam jug filled with silver change averages 175.00. Payed for a Grand Canyon float trip with spare change.

    Good tip Randy...
I actually took a guess at how much I spent last year on drinks from the school...
Bought probably 2 a week for a total of about 30 weeks ($1.00 each)...that equals about $60.00 .. .. .. and some weeks I had more so maybe a total of about $80 spent just on a drink for the bus
    What a waste

I save all my extra change but it goes in a jar for my kids. When it's full I put it in there bank accounts.

I put away what I used to spend on cigarettes @ 2 paks a day.. That really adds up fast.

That's kinda what my wife and I use to do, put all the change from our pockets in a big jar. When its full we would go to Bossier La. for some gambling.
But now I'm smarter, I just give the money to a bum on the street corner and save me a 3 1/2 hr. trip.

I used to take 5 dollar bills and get quarters in a change machine every time I had one. Then put them in a 1 gallon plastic ice cream pale. It will hold 700.00 dollars!!!
Always dump my change out every night, and like you guys say it adds up.

that dollar bill savings plan does work, justhave to avoid the temptation to use it to pay the PIZZA man after a few of these

I had a big Change jar the I turned into a new LMS332
