    oil

    Just thought I would get some opinions. I was told that I could run any tc w3 oil in my 1995 evinrude 200 vindicator. Now I am using xd30. I know some people using quicksilver. Is there any difference in the oil besides price.

    If I was going to start running the Merc stuff, I'd run Premium Plus.

    thanks for the input, not planning on running merc just curious. My evinrude dealer told me to run xd30 because the oil injector was taken off and I have to pre mix. Do I still need to run xd50?

    XD-50 is a better oil than the XD-30. XD-50 is a synthetic blend, XD-30 is straight Dino oil.
