I was in a hurry to get boat ready for the season and on the way to the closet for toilet paper, I saw my daughter's box of baby wipes in the kitchen. They have been in my boat since last year.
Baby wipes come in a air tight box and will last forever. I keep a box in my truck when hunting also.

No, this is what happened. I was stocking my boat with gear and started using baby wipes instead of toilet paper in case of visit to shore.
Multi use item. Cleaning fish slime off your hands, wipe's bird poop off the boat, picks off clingons, and when it gets hot and sweaty out it refreshes ya to wipe the sweat off your brow. I keep them in my boat and truck all the time. Bought some for my dad a couple of years back and the next hunting season, they were all dried out. So if they are not consumed over a period of time they will dry out.
We discovered them about ten years ago when elk hunting. Now an essential and lovingly referred to as a$$ candy.
A$$ candy have not heard them called that sence I left Wyoming 20 yrs ago...can't even rember what they where called before baby wipes but there was something else we used....don't leave home without them

Reguarding the drying out I keep mine in a zippy use every day.

Always carry rags, they work in a pinch, even when wet. Just wash em out right after use. Nothing sucks more than running miles from the nearest chit house and making 3 casts only to have the urge hit you.
