Does your boat cover hold water?

I made a pole from PVC pipe pieces. Two squares about 8" with a pole inserted between. I set it between the windshields and it costs about 6 bucks and wont poke through the cover. It works good and rain just runs off.

I used to have that problem, I cut two pieces of pvc ( measured from the deck to above the windshield) and bored a hole in the end of each. The pvc fits over the short seat poles front and rear. I then took a piece of fat nylon rope and put it through one end of the pvc streched it through the other piece of pvc and knoted it.
It makes a nice tent and is easy to store.
