CHEAP way to store plastic bags...

After looking at some of the storage systems online and my significant other telling me no freakin way "you already have enough crap for that stupid boat"..I found a cool way to do it for 5 buck!!!!

I found these on EBAY potato chip holders I got 6 strips that I had to trim because they were to long, 5 bucks with shipping....

Actually I use the one on the left for jigs. They have a little dimple that keeps things from sliding out... works pretty slick...

I did some looking around and found this site: http://www.merchinv.com/shelfproducts.html. Check out item MSPC-12 under 'Merchandising Strips'. $1.10 each. I'll probably try to call them this afternoon.

    Great idea Chris.

I did the same type of thing with the 3-M command adhesive hooks and clips. They make a wide variety and the biggest thing was if I didn't like it or the placement, they come off clean. The command adhesive also holds strong if you follow the directions.

    Re: hey skeeter (BassSleighR)

These particular clip strips have a little nipple I guess you would call it. If you slide the bag up far enough past the "zipper" part they do not fall off. I have to work at it a little bit to get them in and out. But it is not as bad. The only ones that fall are the bags with the 7" Senkos. They are heavy. The shorter senkos have not fallen yet...

Last year I used to keep my plastic bags in a tupperware container, it was the same width as the bags and I could put like 15-20 bags in it. I took a buddy fishin and he set it up on the rear deck, did not tell me, I took off and it went over at some point. Lost about 75 bucks worth of plastics

I made it a point this winter to do something different... and cheaper...

I also bought the 3M Command Adhesives a couple of weeks ago. Installed them today and they work great. Here is the link:

    http://www.3m.com/us/home_leis...mt.jhtml

I used the medium cord clips.

I just ordered 20 strips. I thought this is a good idea for garage storage as well. Also thought that if I attached some type of velcro I could stick it to the carpet and they wouldn't go flying out of the boat

Update on the strips. Been out in big water a few times and have not had a single bag fall from place!!!
