What minimum credit score do banks start approving boat loans. I have been working on building my credit to get into a new Phoenix.I have at this moment a 550 credit score and was curious..I also don't want to waste anyone's time if it's not even possible.Please any info and ideas will greatly be appreciated,Thanks,Martin

These answers always sound real vague but here goes. We do have lenders that will look at low scores but a couple things are really imoportant. They like to see about 12 months of good solid payment history since the last issues or lates. Also if there are any open collections or liens, they will not do it. No magic score gets them done every time. We have had people in the upper 700's not get loans because of excessive credit card debt or debt to income is too high.
