2000 Triton T186 mercury 150 efi good condition

Any chance of any help with financing $8000.00 for this boat? I do have good credit score and have been employed at same place for 11 years, if that holds any water. Lol. And if so, what kinda interest rate would a man be looking at?
I thought i was going to bounce in my bank of twenty years, do the paper work and go pay for boat.

Yes time on the job does hold some water. Not all banks do boat loans. Some banks will look at a personal loan for that amount of money. With larger lenders you will pay a premium for being under 10K for a loan amount. Year also make a difference in rates. Anything older than 10 years is also a bit tougher. Let us know, Ken, Todd & Chris

Well, thanks for response, but unclear on what your saying the odds are on being able to make it happen. Don't want to waste your time if it's slim to none, or if the rate is ridiculous due to age of boat.
    Thanks

Never a waist of time. We just want you to be aware that you will probably pay a premium because of the age and dollar amount. Thank you, Ken

If you are trying to stay in that price catigory, we recomend using a dealer. In most cases the engine will be gone over ant things should work when you pick it up. That will be important because you will not be able to get a service contract an anything past 6 - 7 model years old. Let us know how we can help,
    Ken, Todd & Chris
