I installed my new wheels today but they are rubbing hard against the clip for the brake shoes. Any ideas?

Trailer wheels typically are a "0 Offset". Are these new ones 0?

They are 1/2 inch wider. 5 1/2 vs 6. The clip is hitting on the wheel.

I would go to Advance Auto or Auto Zone and get the thinnest wheel spacer you can get. I think the smallest I've seen is 1/4" thick. Try that and see if it helps. If not then you can return them.

+1, get spacers, I had the same problem, I have 1/4 inch spacers
