    Painting a Hot Foot

    One of my little winter projects is to paint my hotfoot. I have seen that many guys have done this before. I plan on doing it myself instead of getting it powder coated. How should i prep the metal before I paint it and any recommendations on the paint I should use?

    a little hand sanding & metal primer & paint.

    I would use an etching primer you can buy it at Advance Auto

    sand - self etching primer - epoxy paint and if yours is like mine you can take a sander to the edges to give a little contrast mine is PC but you see what I am saying

    WOW, what does the whole dash/console look like? That is very impressive with the CF, etc.
