93 Venture Tournement Edition Lite Restore\upgrade

I just got a 93 Venture Tournament Edition, said to be the last boat Venture produced by the original owner I got it from and according to the VIN should be as it is a 93 model. It has a 91 Yamaha 225 with a 25p Yamaha prop and a newer Minn Kota Maxxum 65# trolling motor. Everything on it is in good shape except it needs carpet and seats and new electronics. I'll have pictures of the hatch disassembly and de-carpetting soon. I hope to have this monster in the water in a couple of weeks.

Here are the pictures I took right when I got it home, it has been sitting for a little over 2 years.

This was under the cowling when I took it off to check the motor, a bird had built a nest on top of the flywheel. The motor was really clean except for the next, all the hoses and wires were fine.

I had new tires put on the trailer today as the old ones that looked brand new were dry rotted.

I've got to pump the old gas out of the tank and put a new fuel line on it and install a new cranking battery so I can take it to the motor mechanic to have the motor overhauled.

The new carpet and seats are ordered as well as new troll well.

Also having Aluminum deck extension built that will be hinged in the middle to fold up for removal or to access storage underneath. It will be carpeted when completed.

Here are the pics after I stripped the carpet and seats.

I've got to order new bilge and aerator pumps.

That could turn out to be a really nice boat for you.

Just check the transom really good.

    Weren't the 180's rated for a 175 ?
