    91 skeeter 200dx

Well decided instead of buying another hull that is possibly rotted or who knows what problems it would have, I fugured I would rebuild this one. I'm going to take pics and put them on my photobucket account since I dont know how to post them to this Forum yet. Any pointers are greatly encouraged and any questions I will try to answer for anyone else. Thanks Steven

So will you remove the top cap of the boat or try to rebuild the transom without.

Might as well do it right. In 2007 the transom and stringers were replaced in my boat by the previous owner but not the wood in the top cap. One day I will remove mine to replace.

Also, you may want to re-size your pictures.

Thanks everyone will have more pics on Monday Im doing stringers and all. Figured if Im going this far mine as well do it good and be done with it. What is the best way to fix small screw holes in the transome from where PO mounted transducers. Im going to re gelcoat the boat just need to have a good filler that will not cause problems with gelcoat.

When you apply resin during the transom rebuild it should leak into the holes and fill them. You could apply a (small)piece of wax paper with duct tape over it. This would leave a smooth surface.

When I replace the foam should I just go back with 2lb? I was thinking of 4lb but I dont want to add twice the weight if I dont need it.
