    Color match hull- repairing scratches

Hi All- Question about color matching. 93 Stratos 285 Pro XL w/ a hull I would say is somewhere between nassau & navy blue in color. I am planning to repair some scratches & a few chips in my hull. I was wondering about color matching the hull. Given that this boat is a 93 and has some wear on it, I am not expecting to get it exactly right. But the scratches look terrible and I would like to at least clean it up a little, also installing a new keel guard. I think I can sand, polish & buff out some of the lighter scratches (from posts & tips I have read on BBC) but deeper ones will need some fill, especially the chips.

So my question is: Will the kits like the Evercoat match & patch get me close enough or would contacting Stratos be the better way to get the correct color? Any info, tips or suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I use auto touch up paint on my boat. I found a about as perfect of match there can be. Works great for small scratches, chips.
