    retractable rod tie downs

    http://www.tacklewarehouse.com...iview

i bought the boat buckle rod tie downs for my boat but the gunwale (sp?) is to curved and doesn't have enought flat surface for them...has anyone put the concealed kit thing on their boat? if so how much more difficult was it and how is it done?

has anyone used these? they look like they could solve my problem as well.

Re: retractable rod tie downs (gcopple)

It is very easy to put on. I installed one on my Ranger a couple of years ago. Just follow the directions. Also be sure you make sure to take your longest rod and sort of measure by its length to make sure you have moved the rod buckle up far enough so that it will hit your windshield and will lie flat on your deck.
