Meguiars #49 Heavy Duty Oxidation Remover or wet sand?

I've got some light to moderate oxidation on my fiberglass trailer fenders and on the rear of my boat. I'm not sure whether I need to go through the entire wet-sanding process or if I can get away with just the Meguiar's #49 H.D. Oxidation Remover.

Anyone have any experience with the Meguiars? At what point does oxidation befome too severe such that wet sanding is required?

    Thanks in advance!

Pictures would make it easier to determine. I've never used Meguiars so I couldn't say for sure. Maybe you could try it and let us know the reults.

i have used the mentioned meguiars and it works good if just a slight dull look is there, it will not remove any oxidation though, at least that was my experiance. if it is just dull with no cloudyness then it will be fine but other than that i would wetsand or maybe try the 3M stuff.

A mistake on your part does not constitute a emergency on my part.
