for all the guys that have bought carpet from Bass Cat, is the 6' wide carpet exactly 6' or do they give you a couple on inches extra. I have one spot on my boat that would take 6'2" to cover without a seam.

I bought the Storm colored carpet last year and it was actually 7' wide. You may want to give them a call to check.

I would contact them directly, but I dont think mine was exactly 6 foot either.
I had the same dilemma...I contacted BassCat and they told me that it only came in 6 x30.....I need 8x30. So I decided to order it from Marinecapet.com... I ordered it on Monday and received it on Weds...WOW!!!! Plus shipping was free!Looks great(but I dont have it installed yet). I would highly recommend them. I went to Lowes and spoke with a salesperson and looked at a 20oz versus a 24oz and also stood on a few samples....I couldnt feel a difference. Thus I bought the 20oz from marinecarpet.

I called BassCat and spoke to them about the true mica mist and thy went and measured an the true mica was 7 ft wide. So it ll work for me.
It's easier to ask for forgiveness than it is to ask for permission.
All the carpet that I have purchased from bass cat, has been 7 ft. wide
