I'm in the process of re-carpeting my Triton and think I want to put in a recessed
tray for my trolling motor. Any recommendations on brands etc. for the best bang
for the buck....thanks. Donm

I have used a comfortroll twice in 2 different boats and really like it. All metal with curved heel section make it look more factory.
This is my TR-21 with one of our kits installed. You'll wish you had installed one a long time ago!! The kits are $89 to your door, (lower 48). Let me know if I can help in any way. MM

I can also color match the Tritons pretty easy if interested or have any questions, email me sales@trollwell.com.

No doubt about it, that's the best value. I scratch built one, and I can assure you the time spent and the weight, makes buying this one above at a great price the best option by a long shot

R & R Design Inc. makes a nice trolling motor tray as well. They are made of Powder coated aluminum, UV protected, Universal to fit any style of trolling motor.
You will definetaly wish you installed one of these sooner. I have had three boats so far. One came with it already installed and the other two i had to install one. But it was one of the first add ons i make. It will save your back and make you more stable on your boat.
We are selling these for $69.99.
Please Call or Visit our website to order.

One thing that concerns me that I found doing my restore is that the drain tubes that these have which go to the hull center, at least on my 93 stratos, there was no drainage from anywhere in the front to the hull. Any water that came in anywhere in the front just got trapped between the foam and the stringers and eventually rotted the stringers. I have since added holes and made up for the lack but my boat cannot be the only one with this design. Its just that someone might put one of these in and think that running the tube to the hull and they are all good might not be right. No, it probably wouldnt be tons of water going in and might not be a problem but over time, it just might. Especially if it gets trapped in the foam surounding the wood that was cut (and I hope resin sealed afterward) or that wood will become a soft spot, I am certain.
