    Boat Capacity Plate???

Howdy all!!! I recently bought a boat to fixup/restore and come to find out the boat has no capacity plate on it...its a 1986 16' Glasstream...how do I go about getting a replacement one for it?? I have already contacted the USCG and Ohio Division of Watercraft with no help from either of them, just more phone numbers to call that lead me back to the USCG and Division of Watercraft....PLEASE HELP!!!

not trying to be wise A, but do you really need one? nobody will probably care that you dont have one unless you put a 200hp on it and try to fish B.A.S.S. tourney. Though I can understand if your trying to do an all original type resto. look on iboats.com you can find out what its rated for. http://www.iboats.com/Glasstream/bp/20br1202

Ya I was thinkin the same thing here...even our tourney director is overloadin his 12ft jon w/ 6 batteries, 2 101lb thrust trolling motors plus 2 guys, livewell gear etc....so I see no harm in not havin one as long as I'm not weighin it down w/ 15 batteries!! Thanks a bunch for the help Dan!!

I don't know about GlassStream but I got s new one for my old Ranger 350V by contacting Ranger, giving them my serial number and they sent a new plate free of charge. They will not send one without a number though.

Just A thought: I wanted to replace mine with new so I had Darryl at Iguanna Graffix make some new ones for me. If you could get a picture of one from a sister boat that would be all he needed.

    New:

They look great on my boat! I need to take a picture now that they are installed!
