Weldwood adhesive for the carpet is what I used.
I believe the pop rivits are 3/16".

Contact cement works damn good too.
Got my 20oz carpet from marinecarpet - not bad at all..,...some slightly thready areas but cuts well with a sharp blade. Switch your blade every 4 feet or less....1 blade = 12 - 15 ft cut. I used Roberts outdoor glue for front deck and contact for all the lids and rear deck - I made a paper template of the rear deck areas and cut the carpet to fit. Make sure to mark all screw holes on the lids - can be tricky finding them again after the carpets on.......and open the windows
