Somehow I managed to put a nasty gash in my hull and take a chunk out near the transom last week. I have a tournament next week and want to know if I will be doing more damage running it for a couple of days before having it repaired.
What do you guys think?

The least I would do is get that thing filled with marine-tex or similar epoxy. That is a quick fix but still may need additional repairs when there is time.
You are down into the fiberglass mat, that will have to be filled /covered or you chance getting water into the glass.
Marine -tex in gray might be a close match to fix.

Do they make two shades of Marine Tex Gray? The reason I ask is when I put Marine Tex Gray on my hull it's very dark, not quite black but not far from it either.
