line x the inside of your boat haul?

Im replacing all my stringer in my astro and just had my truck bed line x last week. As i was standing there talking to the service rep, i asked him if they have ever sprayed a boat before. He stood there and scratched his head and said no we havent. Has anyone sprayed or any thoughts about doing this. They showed me a drink can that they had sprayed and you couldnt crush that thing. Along with a piece of foam with a light 1/6" coat over it and you couldnt break it. By spraying the stringers and inside of the boat with a light coating this would completely water proof everything and make the hull and stringers very ridgit.
Please anyone correct me if im wrong..

anything can be done I guess. The main thing I'd worry about was adding extra weight to the rig. Could throw off the balance and handling

i think that stuff wieghs around 9 lbs per gallon, I would ask him how many gallons he would need to spray to cover and you could pretty easily come up with how much wieght it would add.

I would also check to see if polyester resin would stick to it. If you were to poke a hole in the hull on a stump or rock would the liner on the inside of the hull make it more difficult to repair from the inside.

I think you would be better off just to apply another coat of resin to make sure it is well sealed. With Line-X, you would add more weight and cost.
