Started wet sanding the boat today. I started with 1000, then 1500 to 2000 and the boat felt reaaallll smooth. I washed it and started doing the compounding the buffer everyone recomennded here and it looks great. I'm only doing the cap and interior, the lower hull is fine. I'm hoping to finish it by the end of the week. I will post pics when I'm done. Thanks for all the input and help on here.
