    Arjay 6011 transom compound

Guys, I have 3 gallons of Arjay left over from my transom replacement. Listed in the Misc Classifieds. Anyone near the Austin area interested, check it out. I don't want it to go to waste.

I'll try to get some posted next week sometime. Working on getting the piece of top cap that I cut away back on.

Will you have ones of the inside?

Yeah, I took a couple of the inside before I poured. I didn't take any pics though of the process of cleaning out the old wood. Just too focused on the task at hand and didn't stop to snap some pics. I'll try to get some up this evening or tomorrow.

Take some of your glass work as you go on the topcap repair.
I would be intrested in seeing how you do that type of work.

    Thanks

Yeah, I'll be interested in seeing how I go about it too!!

I'll try to remember to take some pics. I only cut away a narrow piece of the top cap....maybe 2" wide or so the width of the transom. The plan is to epoxy the removed glass strip back into place, then use my rotary tool to "V" out the cut line. From there I was actually considering using Marine Tex to fill the gap (it won't be but 1/4" or so wide), then lay down a coat of gel after prepping. BUT...I'm open to other suggestions.
