    Old stickers

I am trying to remove the old registration stickers off my new to me boat and the annual stickers came right off. The number stickers are not even thinking of coming off. I tried a little heat from a heat gun and that won't touch them. Any ideas? Don't want to use any chemicals that will harm the gel coat on the outside.

I had a buddy at a body shop that used a neumatic tool that had a thing that was like a big eraser on the end of it. Took only a couple minutes to remove and there was no damage to the gel coat.
