Let me see if I can explain this correctly The other day I was going to polish out a mar in the topcap of my 2009 Ranger the topcap is white so I took Mequiars marine polish and started to try to polish it out as I started to rub it out the finish got duller and duller so the I took a 3m black waffle pad on a polisher and tried to get it back to shine but nothing so the next day I took it to a local fiberglass guy and he was able to get it to shine better but would not shine up to the original shine and when you get right down to it it is super porous it looks like a orangepeel I asked him if we could wet sand it and he said ti will alway look like this, it looks like crap he say it is the quality that you can expect as boat manufacturers go out of business. Has anybody else had anything like this or any ideas how to fix boat is still under warranty not sure what they can do.![]()
