I'm planning on doing a deck extension for my 1987 Champion 201. What thickness plywood would you guys recommend using?
Thanks,

I just made an extnsion for an R 81 a couple months ago. I used two pieces of 3/4" pressure treated plywood locked together. I recommend sealing them with a water sealer before putting carpet on. I cut two identical pieces to the correct size I needed, then used Liquid Nails to glue them together. In addition, I ran 1" - 1 1/4" deck screws into each piece to lock the two together. This worked perfectly for me with little to no bounce in the extension. It felt solid. Good luck!
GO STEELERS!!!
I used 3/4 inch plywood, and glassed it on the front deck. On the back deck which is a lid. I used 1/4 inch and fiberglass cloth both sides and there is no flex in that either. Lucky for you there is lots of posts with deck extensions...good luck.

Thanks, guys I think I'll go with 3/4".
rutleep,
Just curious, which water sealer did you use? I heard thomson's water sealer doesn't last too long.
I'm in the middle of creating a deck extension and thought about using something like this.
