Looking for some info on how to bring the shine back on the boat. 96 Pro craft. The cap of the boat is badly sun faded. There is no chips or scratches in the gel coat but it really needs something to bring it back to a shine. I tried to compound a small area but got little results. Any suggestions.

look up instructions on wet sanding. I found information in this site about it and have been working on a cajun bass boat that was bad faded and it is doing a great job.
Just noticed that Basscat7 had posted a thread for you to check out and that is the same one I followed and it works great.
