Best way to remove cowl decals?

Is there a secret to this? Any solutions that will help get them off without stripping paint from the cowl?

Take a hair dryer or if you actually have a heat gun, heat up the edge of the decal and take your finger nail and start to peel it off making sure to continuosly heat the decal as you peel. Just be careful not to scorch the decal as it may mess up the cowling finish.
